Elon Musk’s Grokipedia reveals updated design

Grokipedia Relaunches with Updated Design Features

After months of inactivity, Grokipedia, SpaceXAI’s AI-driven alternative to Wikipedia, has resumed updates and revealed a series of design improvements with its v0.3 update. Among these enhancements are a revamped logo, a refreshed homepage, and an improved live edits page. According to SpaceXAI head of design Benji Taylor, this marks a “newly refreshed Grokipedia.”

New Homepage Layout

The redesigned homepage now features more content than the simple logo and search bar of its predecessor. Users will find lists of featured and most-read articles, as well as an “latest edits” tracker. The featured articles section uses a creative approach, displaying books that can be digitally spun, while the most-read articles are presented on a horizontally-scrolling bookshelf. The live edits page has also been updated to better display recent modifications, making it more user-friendly.

Article Page Improvements

Individual article pages have also undergone minor adjustments. There is a refined format for the tables outlining key facts at the top of articles, along with reduced spacing between lines for better readability. Despite these tweaks, the overall design and layout of the articles remain largely unchanged.

Background and Development

Grokipedia initially launched in late October 2025 with its v0.1 version that included AI-cloned Wikipedia pages. A subsequent v0.2 update followed in November of the same year. However, the platform appeared to stall earlier this year, with no updates reported for several months. This inactivity was highlighted in an August report by Lawfare, which noted the lack of changes for over three months. With the current updates, there is renewed interest within SpaceXAI towards the platform, although the company has not yet commented further on recent developments.
