Microsoft has announced its latest entries for Xbox Game Pass this October. Fans of the service can look forward to new additions, while also saying goodbye to some beloved games, including the acclaimed Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which will depart after this week.
Upcoming Additions to Xbox Game Pass
- Echo Weaver (Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, and PC) – Set to be available from 8th October on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.

The standout attraction is EA’s bestselling Battlefield 6, which will join the service on 13th October. This high-profile game, known for its large-scale battles, set a franchise record by selling over 7 million copies in its first three days and dominating Steam’s sales charts. The game continues its success into this year with fresh updates and a collaboration with Top Gun, despite cutbacks at Battlefield Studios last March.
Several other games will launch on Xbox Game Pass on their release day. Highlights include the intriguing time-loop game Echo Weaver, the exploratory Forever Ago, and the cooperative roguelike Chained Beasts. Players can also look forward to city-building challenges in Beyond These Stars, set on the back of a space whale, among others.
