Exciting updates have been revealed for Xbox and PC Game Pass subscribers, with a range of new games scheduled to arrive in the latter half of August.
Leading the announcements is the eagerly anticipated release of Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, which will be available from day one on August 27. This latest instalment from Asobo immerses players in a gripping prequel set across dual timelines on Crete. Unlike its predecessors, the game focuses heavily on combat, delivering an action-packed experience reminiscent of Tomb Raider and Uncharted, complete with striking visuals and challenging puzzles.
Another highlight for gamers is the arrival of Blood Dungeon on August 25. Created by Messhof, known for the cult hit Nidhogg, this new title is described as carrying a Metroidvania essence, ready to offer players an immersive experience.
Meanwhile, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered Edition will exit the Game Pass by 31 August. Subscribers who are yet to dive into its expansive world have a limited window left, particularly with a new expansion in the horizon.
