Express Reissues Archive Collection

Clothing retailer Express is embracing nostalgia by bringing back menswear styles from its earlier decades. The retailer, well-known since its 1980s inception and peak at the turn of the century, has reintroduced pieces from the 1990s and early 2000s, including items from its discontinued Structure brand. The collection, named “Express Archives,” includes sweatshirts, cargo trousers, and more, all retaining the relaxed and bold styles typical of that era. The merchandise is priced between $64 and $188, allowing customers to reconnect with their fashion memories. Vice President Chris Scalzo remarked on the timeless appeal of these classic designs.

KitchenAid’s Eye-catching Appliance

The Luminaire 2026 Design Series mixer features a fluted glass bowl that spreads light across countertops, enhancing kitchen aesthetics. A limited-edition range of matching kitchen appliances, including a handpainted Commercial-Style Range priced at $8,899, accompanies the release. Additionally, consumers can enter a contest through September 29th to win the exclusive mixer.

Vera Bradley’s Financial Growth

In its second consecutive quarter of revenue ascent, Vera Bradley reported a 1.1% increase in net revenue during Q2, totalling $71.6 million. The company also reported $4.5 million in net income compared to a $4.7 million loss in the corresponding quarter last year. CEO Ian Bickley highlighted the company’s commitment to sustaining long-term viable growth and profits during its ongoing transformation.

Changes in the Athletic Sector

The athletic retail sector is experiencing significant executive turnover this week. Vuori welcomes Mark McCambridge from Arc’teryx as its new executive creative director starting November. Puma sees the departure of key executives, including Matthias Baeumer and Tara McRae, who are moving to new roles at Rhone and Skechers, respectively. JD Group named John Mersho as head of its North American portfolio, succeeding the retiring John Hall, while Mike Grimes assumes the role of chief marketing officer. These changes come as competition intensifies and consumer spending becomes more selective in the activewear market.
