Discount on Razer’s High-End Gaming Headset
Gamer enthusiasts can now purchase the Razer BlackShark V3 Pro headset at a significantly reduced price. Originally retailing at $250, the headset is now available for $164.99 on Woot, representing a saving of nearly $100. This offer is unusual for a gaming headset equipped with features like active noise cancellation (ANC), typically not found in models under $200.
Compatibility and Specifications
The BlackShark V3 Pro is tailored for both the PlayStation and Xbox gaming systems, though the Xbox version boasts broader compatibility. It can also connect to PlayStation consoles, PCs, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices. The headset utilises a 2.4GHz low latency transmitter that connects to devices via USB, alongside Bluetooth 5.3 support, making it suitable for various uses beyond gaming.
Extra Features and Editions
For those wanting added versatility, the headset features a detachable boom microphone, allowing it to be used as portable headphones. Its active noise cancellation feature is ideal for blocking out ambient noise during commutes. For fans of Riot’s game, 2XKO, a special edition of the headset is available for $149.99, which includes an additional $15 discount.
One consideration for buyers is the warranty period, which is limited to 90 days through this particular Woot deal. However, at just $35 more than the less advanced Razer BlackShark V2 Pro, the additional capabilities of the V3 Pro, including ANC and dual audio channels from both 2.4GHz and Bluetooth, may entice potential buyers.
