Nightdive to unveil Thief Remastered campaign in November

Nightdive Studios has unveiled a new campaign titled The Tarnished Mirror for its upcoming remaster of Thief: The Dark Project, shortly after the name was inadvertently revealed through a leaked list of Steam achievements.

Teaser Video and Artful Acknowledgement

The announcement was made via a teaser video that humorously acknowledged the recent speculations about leaks. This preview featured opening commentary on the rumours, followed by a display of Garrett’s character art by Alexandru “Dominus” Negoita and the logo for The Tarnished Mirror. An in-depth reveal is scheduled for 2nd November.

Within the teaser, Garrett remarks on the situation with the line, “Huh…not so secret anymore, is it?”

Details Await Further Unveiling

While Nightdive has confirmed the existence and title of The Tarnished Mirror, further specifics about the campaign’s content remain under wraps, presumably to be disclosed in the forthcoming November announcement.

Background on the Remaster

Originally announced in June, Thief: The Dark Project Remastered is set to feature enhanced visuals and quality of life improvements, including a new weapon wheel and mission selector, along with support for 4K resolution and 120 frames per second.
