Mews, a company heralding from Amsterdam, has developed significantly from its beginnings in 2012 as a provider of property-management software for hotels. It now offers services in payments, point of sale, revenue management, events, housekeeping, as well as AI and financial services, positioning itself as a comprehensive operating system for hotels. This evolution has driven Mews’ status as a fast-growing entity in hotel technology, culminating in a hefty $2.5 billion valuation from investors.
Financial Performance and Growth
In 2025, Mews achieved a remarkable 39% increase in revenue, totalling €291 million (approximately $329 million). A significant proportion of this revenue, about 75%, was attributed to transaction-based services rather than the company’s traditional software subscriptions. During the same period, Mews handled an impressive €17 billion ($19.2 billion) in transaction volume through its platform.
Expanding Opportunities
With nearly $20 billion managed on its platform, the company’s primary challenge and opportunity lie in leveraging its existing transaction and operational reach to generate greater value. This strategic focus on broadening its capabilities reflects its ambitions to deepen its impact within the hospitality industry.
